Sapphire’s 370 Truckmount Earns Gold “Seal of Approval” from Carpet and Rug Institute
Adding to the distinction of the Sapphire Scientific truckmount line, the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) has awarded the top-selling 370 truckmount its coveted Certified Gold Seal of Approval.
After undergoing a battery of rigorous tests by a third-party firm, the 370 demonstrated that it’s a truckmount built for cleaning success! As Ron Britton, Director of Cleaning Products at Legend Brands noted, “When looking for a superior truckmount, you want the best quality components with a high-performing heat source. Our patented heat exchange system not only heats water to an optimal temperature for cleaning, but also maintains a consistent temperature from start to finish. What the CRI Seal of Approval Means
According to the CRI, “The Seal of Approval for carpet extraction equipment only tests the effectiveness of carpet cleaning equipment without the use of chemicals and certifies deep cleaning extractors that effectively remove soil without damage to the carpet. The test lab uses a method called XRF in which an X-ray fluorescence (XRF) detects elements of each compound used to soil a controlled carpet and determine their concentrations after a cleaning process.”
Not all extractors are good enough to earn this distinction. The blue and green seal helps customers recognize that they are buying quality products.
CRI also notes that to qualify for the Seal, extractors must meet stringent standards in all three test categories:
* Amount of residual moisture removed from the carpet from a wet cleaning process
* Amount of soil removed from the carpet
* Impact of the equipment on carpet fibers and appearance
